Please Note: The following changes have been made to our school year calendar:
- 1st day of school August 10, 2020 (Instead of August 3, 2020)
- End of 1st 6 weeks (VIRTUAL CLASSES for ALL STUDENTS) September 18, 2020 (Instead of September 11, 2020)
- Fall Break October 12-16, 2020 (Instead of October 5-9)
- End of 2nd 6 weeks (VIRTUAL CLASSES for ALL STUDENTS) November 6, 2020 (Instead of October 30, 2020)
The approved calendar for the 2020 2021 school year is here! We will be starting earlier to allow for a fall break in October, and we will have an intercession week in March. Students that are behind in work or that have missed too many days of school will be asked to make up hours or work during that week. If students are not behind or missing hours, they will not be in class that week.
The other main change this year is that at end of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th 6 weeks we will require the students to do virtual school on the Friday that teachers have in service.
We have tried to maintain our traditional calendar, while aligning to the other El Paso schools for the many parents that are working in the school districts and/or have other children in other schools.
We will also be sending out our protocols for 2020 2021 very soon, which include a hybrid possibility for those that are not yet comfortable with their students being back in the classroom.
